I'm talking 4 hours of registering, done! I figured it would take awhile, but I was not mentally prepared for this. I honestly thought we'd be in and out, maybe 1-2 hours tops. I should have approached the entire situation differently. We should have started and then taken a break and then resumed at another time. But what can I say, I was being stubborn (who me?) and was determined to get it done in one day. Especially because Clint's work schedule is so crazy right now, there's no telling when he's going to have another weekend off. So I had to seize the day! And we did.
It started off enjoyable. We had a little pep in our step with our handy check list out and ready to go. We started at one end of the store and worked our way all the way around. By the time we got to the bedding we both were ready to pass out in one of those glider chairs. In fact, if I thought the cribs could have held me I would have crawled right into one.
We registered for ALOT of stuff and yet I'm sure we probably forgot something. And all the little girl stuff was just so cute, I found myself registering for things not out of necessity but out of cuteness. Some things I tried to remain gender neutral like the pack and play and the stroller, things we can use again for baby number two. But a lot of it is gender specific and girly. And I have to give Clint some props, he didn't shy away from all the pinkness. He took it like a champ and even embraced it a little. At one point he was even pointing out things he thought would look good in her room. It was precious.

Glad to get that checked off my list, now if only we could get her room cleaned out. That's a whole other beast.....
So, I got razzed a little bit at work for not blogging while I was out last week. I had every intention of keeping up the pace but it completely slipped my mind and I got distracted. Being pregnant and ADD can be a lethal combination at times. But I solemnly swear that while I am on maternity leave I will keep you all updated regularly with lots of pictures. J

Below are some picture of the Christmas presents Stella got.
This is from her Gidda (AKA my mother) and Nana (AKA my Me Me).
The My Pal Violet dog from Leap Frog plays lullabys, learning songs, activities, and I can even record my voice for her to hear when I go back to work. And she has her first Chu! For anyone who knows my family knows that my parents have chihuahua's, the "girls", and apparently every kid needs one too. Her name is Nacho, I didn't name her, that's the name that was on the tag.

This adorable little crochet outfit is from our friends, Anne and Aaron. So cute! I could just die from the cuteness, I really could.
