I can not believe that I am the mother of a two year old. Well, almost 2 year old. She'll officially be two next month, however she's been acting like she's 2 for a couple weeks now. Meaning, dare I say it, we have reached the terrible twos!
The sassyness factor has been turned up about 10 notches and she's starting to talk back. Now whenever I ask her to do something she says "No mama" or if she's feeling particularly sassy she'll wag her finger back and forth at me while proceeding to say "No mama". Her Italian side is starting to come out in full force which can be both a blessing and a curse. And because my genes are finally kicking in (I'm told I can be stubborn, although I don't see it) we've started implementing time outs. So far it's going pretty well, she'll actually sit there and it seems to help her calm down.
I'm beyond excited about her birthday party. It's Elmo themed and it's going to be at The Little Gym in Plano. I ordered her a super cute Elmo shirt that's personalized with her name and age. I think I might be more excited than she is.
In honor of her turning another year older we decided to get her two year old pictures taken. Clint's cousin took them and they turned out super cute. We decided to go with a cowgirl theme because let's face it she's really just a cowgirl at heart. :) Now to decide which one to turn into a canvas print and put up in our house. We already have an entire wall dedicated to Stella, what's one more picture?

My Plexus Journey
I’ve gotten a lot of inquiries about Plexus and I wanted to go ahead and share my plexus journey and my story. Like a lot of people I vowed to lose weight at the beginning of the year. In fact I vow to do this every year. I struggled with weight my whole life and always had a love/hate relationship with food. I loved it but unfortunately it hated me. Call it having a slow metabolism, call it being Italian and it’s just not in my genes. No matter what I did I could not stay at a healthy weight. I tried everything, Weight Watchers, Atkins, you name it and I’ve tried it. I constantly yo-yo dieted until I eventually just stopped eating all together. It’s not something I like to talk about but for a long time in college I didn’t eat hardly anything and got down to the thinnest and unhealthiest I have ever been. I knew I had to make a change so that I didn’t go back to that dark place where I let food run my life.
Being pregnant with Stella was one of the happiest times of my life. Unfortunately I gained quite a bit of weight and never fully lost it all. I had given up trying. I figured this is me and I’m just going to have to live with it. I was content with being the bigger girl. I figured hey I’m fun, I’m a good person, so what if I’m never going to be skinny. Little did I know that a co-worker of mine would introduce me to a product that would literally change my life. Let me start off by saying I had just started my new job and knew nobody, this is a lady whom I went to high school with her daughter, my brother played sports with her son. I mean what a small world! I truly believe God brought me to where I work now not only to be able to be a better provider for my family, but to meet this woman, I’ll go ahead and give her a shout out Tere Cody Davis, and for her to introduce me to this amazing product.
I had never heard of Plexus Slim before, knew absolutely nothing about it. I just kept seeing her testimonials posted on Facebook and after seeing her before and after pictures I was sold. I said sign me up and I never looked back. I don’t like calling this a “product” because it’s so much more to me than that. It’s so much more than a diet drink or a weight loss solution…it’s a way of life. I can honestly say in my 32 years of life I have never felt this good and it’s not just from losing 10 pounds…that’s right it’s been a little over two months and I’ve lost 10 pounds! It’s about for the first time in my life truly being healthy. Not only do I feel healthier I have TONS of energy! And that’s without any stimulants. Plexus Slim is completely stimulant free and all natural. Which is what I love about it.
Being a working mom is hard. Sometimes I come home at the end of a long work day, this was before Plexus, and I couldn’t move off the couch. There were dishes to be done, laundry to fold, a little girl to play with…I would say dinner to cook but let’s not get crazy. We all know Clint does the cooking. ;) I just didn’t have the energy to do anything. I would lay down with Stella at 8:00 p.m. at night to put her to bed and would fall asleep myself, even though there was so much stuff to do around the house. Now that I’ve been on Plexus I come home and I can run circles around my former self. Not only do I have more energy throughout the day, I’m sleeping better at night and I have more control over what I’m eating. There’s no more desire to over indulge or eat away a bad day. I’m just…happy. It’s a feeling of happiness. That sounds nuts right? But it’s true.
I also don’t get headaches anymore. I used to get chronic migraines once a month like clockwork. I even have a prescription for it. I haven’t had a single one since starting Plexus. I used to have high cholesterol. Now I haven’t had a physical yet but if I were a betting woman I’d put my money on the fact that it’s probably lowered. Because that’s what Plexus does. It not only helps you lose weight it also helps lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, regulate your blood glucose levels (it’s great for diabetics) helps you sleep better (no more restless nights)….overall it helps you live life better. I know I know. I sound like a crazy woman and I have NEVER been this fired up over anything before. I have just had such a great experience and want to share it with those I care about.
This drink has truly been a blessing and I can’t imagine my life not on it. I truly believe EVERY single person can benefit from being on this drink. It’s not about losing weight it’s about being healthy. It’s about investing in yourself and investing in your health and deciding to make a change for the better. And it doesn’t get any easier than this. One drink a day, that’s it! It’s literally one drink a day. Not to mention it tastes great. Just like crystal light. No meal replacements, or counting calories or giving up eating your favorite foods. You pour it, shake it and then drink it. Did I mention it's one drink a day?
I know you were probably expecting to see pictures of Stella since she is what I usually blog about….I just couldn’t pass up an opportunity to share with everyone about this great new way of life that I’ve been living. Thanks to Plexus I’m not only losing weight but I’m getting my body back in shape to prepare for baby number 2. That’s right. I have baby fever bad! I can’t wait to have a second one but I know first I have to get healthy. I had high blood pressure with Stella, which is why I had to be induced at 38 weeks, and was so swollen all the time. I want to enjoy this next pregnancy and that starts with me getting myself in the best possible health beforehand.
If you’re curious about Plexus and want to give it a try, below is a link to my site. As I mentioned before EVERYONE can benefit from this amazing drink. And did I tell you the best part? It's pink! Only one of my favorite colors. :)There are so many great products. I’m currently on the bio cleanse and I can really tell a difference it’s made. I want to try the XFactor vitamin which is a turbo charge super vitamin. I want to try it all! And with a 60 day money back guarantee you really have nothing to lose.

And not wanting to disappoint...here are some pictures of Stella. She really hates shoes but now she hates pants. And in the below pictures she's actually wearing shoes! Go figure...

What's Been Happening
I know it's been a couple months since my last post. What can I say, I've been living and loving life. 2013 ended with such amazing opportunities and blessings, new job, Stella is blossoming into a full fledged toddler, just so much is going on. Now it's a new year and I can't wait to see what God has in store for my little family. Maybe a sibling for Stella? Who knows! All I know is I'm going to be 33...eek! I can't believe I just typed that. It's like he who shall not be named (for you non Harry Potter fans out there it's Voldermort) it's something we don't speak of. But I know I'm getting older and the fever is upon us...baby fever that is. :) Plus, I always thought I'd have three. I come from three and I have loved every fun, loving, hair pulling, sleepless nights, laughing fits, how did that booger get on me, wouldn't trade it for the world moments with Stella...I just can't wait to see what other little people can come from Clint and I. Next time around all I'm asking for is dark hair. I don't need a mini me just something to show that I'm not the nanny...I feel like my genes didn't even show up to the party with Stella. I jest but all that really matters is that they're healthy.
Something else that 2014 has started, my weight loss journey. I've been taking Plexus Slim for about 3 1/2 weeks and I gotta tell ya I feel amazing. The pink drink is the real deal and I've lost 7 pounds! Not too shabby. I want to be healthier and more active not only for Stella but for myself. Not to mention it's supposed to help lower cholesterol, which I'm borderline high, and a whole lot of other health benefits. What can I say...I drank the Koolaid (literally), I'm a believer.
Christmas at Clint's Paw Paw's house.
Playing with her baby doll from Nana.
I had a photo album made for all the grandparent with pictures and milestones from Stella's first year. I love me some Snapfish.
Playing with her mail box. Clint thought this was an odd gift but it teachers her shapes with the different sizes of letters.
Christmas at my parent's house, having fun with her cousins.
Ready for Christmas!
Christmas outfit for school.
Big girl reading her book before bed.
Pig tails!
Fast asleep. This is why I don't mind her being in our room. Her sweet face is the last thing I see before I go to bed at night and the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning. If I was going to hash tag anything it would be #blessed.
The stroller was for her baby doll but she thinks it's really for her.
I'm surprised she hasn't broken it by now.
I'm surprised she hasn't broken it by now.
Cheese!
Sweet girl.
Baby yoga!
Max always makes her laugh. These two are thick as thieves, even though she mostly just terrorizes him. He's a good sport.
Girl is too cool in her leather jacket and high tops.
I can't take credit for this. This is all Clint's doing.

She's a ballerina cowgirl. Clint's mom took these and I love them.
It's giving me ideas for her 2 year old photo shoot.

This was at the Rainforest Cafe, FYI Stella does not like it when it thunders and the animals come to life. She spent most of the dinner in Clint's lap. I feel bad but I really thought she'd like it. :(
Playing at Gidda's.
Having fun at Kaitlyn's 5th birthday party.
