This is from our friends Becky, Matt and Collin. I have a feeling this little outfit might just show up on this year’s Christmas cards. J
This weekend was pretty uneventful. We did get the Christmas tree and decorations down, which is good. But we have yet to clean out the guest bedroom that is going to be Stella’s room. I wasn’t feeling that great, sinus issues and congestion (same old song and dance) seems to be my “thing” for this pregnancy. I have been constantly coughing, sneezing and wheezing (could just be the fat kid coming out) throughout the entire time. Oh well, such is life. But that’s one of the main reasons we didn’t make any progress this weekend, I just didn’t feel up to it.
New plan of attack:
- Clean out the "office" and remove stationary bike and Clint’s desk
- Order Stella’s crib and dresser by the end of January
- Move the guest bedroom furniture into said office by the end of February making it the new guest bedroom
- Have her bedroom completely cleared out by the end of February
- Order glider/ottoman by the end of February
- Have room completely done by April
Those are my goals and I’m sticking to it....hopefully. I know I know, I still have 4 months left but that just doesn’t seem like enough time. I still can’t believe how fast this whole thing has gone by. I can remember back to week 4 when I found out we were pregnant and now we are at week 23. Blows my mind. Not gonna lie, trying not to panic over here.J
On a positive note I am starting to feel her move around more. It started out just feeling the "popping" sensations at night, now I feel her throughout the day. I haven't had any hardcore kicks yet but I'll take what I can get. Clint actually got to feel the flutters too for the first time this weekend. He thought it was just gas and didn't believe me that is what it feels like. Guess we'll have to wait until she's bigger and really moving around to make a believer out of him.
I will say this, when I'm at work I don't feel her as much. I don't know if it's because I'm busy and not paying attention but when I'm home during the day I feel her all day. At work I get nothing until I get back home. Maybe my job puts her to sleep. J
