Hester's Happenings: 9 Months Already?

We've made it to the 9 month mark. It's hard to believe that we're here already. It goes by so unbelievably fast you have no idea. I think back when I was pregnant with her and trying to image what she would look like and what her little personality would be like. She is so much more than anything I could have ever imagined. She is absolutely beautiful. Never in all my life did I think I would ever have a light haired blue eyed baby. Not this Italian mama, no sir. I figured I'd have a little mini me with dark hair and dark eyes, but wouldn't you know it she looks just like Clint. With a little bit of me mixed in there. She mostly has my temperament. She's so laid back and chill. But don't let her fool you. She's got that Italian rage underneath the surface. We've had a few tantrums where those chubby little fists get raised in the air and she shakes it like she just don't care. She's got her mama in her yet. ;) Did I mention how funny she is? Everything makes her laugh. Sneezing, waving, eating, you name it she laughs at it. She's been such a joy it's hard imagining my life without her.

Last week was her 9 month check-up, below are little Miss's stats:

Weight: 20.2 pounds - 75%
Length: 28 inches - 75%
Head: 17.5 inches - 55%

What's new with her food? Well, we've sort of abandoned the whole baby food making train. It was fun in the beginning, but now that she's eating more of a variety of foods it's just too hard to keep up with her. So we've been giving her the Gerber Nature Select and Gerber Organic. She seems to like it and that way we can give her different kinds of fruits and veggies throughout the day along with her bottle feedings. We've also started the jarred meats. That's got to be the grossest thing ever invented but she eats it up no problem, poor thing doesn't know it's nasty.
