Such a big smile.
Louis holding Stella.
Sup.
While she was there, Kelly convinced me to start swaddling her again. We had been having some fussy nights and she wasn't sleeping well and I don't know why, but ever since we got home from the hospital we stopped swaddling her. I don't know if it's because we thought maybe she didn't need it anymore or because she got so mad when we did it we just stopped. Who knows, but either way we never saw the need for it and man were we wrong. When we picked Stella up she was all swaddled and passed out. So when we got home we swaddled her back up to see what would happen and low and behold she passed out instantly. I think we might be on to something here.
Worked like a charm.
I'm a believer.
Broke free.
So needless to say we've been swaddling Stella ever since. I've been incorporating it into her nightime routine and it works like a charm. This mamma is convinced. So note to self, if you have a baby that is really fussy at night and just wants to be held, chances are they just want to be held tight and swaddling them will do the trick. Or at least it worked for this munchkin.
