First Trip to the Zoo

I am way behind on my blogging. Starting out I was going to do like 3 or 4 posts a week. Then that changed to posting twice a week, then once a week. Now I'm happy if I can just get it updated every two weeks. I've got to get it together! Luckily I just downloaded a blogger app on my phone so hopefully that will help speed things a long.

A couple weeks ago we went to the zoo! It was so funny the day before we discovered how much Stella loves to look through the sliding door window that is in the kitchen and watch the dogs. She stands up with her little face pressed against the glass just laughing and the whole time I'm thinking man we've got to get this chick to the zoo she would love it. And low and behold my friend Jeaux called me the next day to see if we wanted to go. It was perfect timing.

Honestly I dont' know how much of it really sank in. She mostly liked watching all the people. Although she did notice the giraffes, probably because they are huge and hard to miss. She was a little awe struck by them.

Aside from the petting zoo, Stella had a great first trip to the zoo. We'll have to go back soon with Daddy. I have a feeling Stella inherited my love for animals, although I'm not sure what her beef was with the goats. I foresee many trips to the zoo, and an aquarium or two, in our future.  :)
