Cereal - Take Two!

I'm pleased to say we have got this whole cereal eating thing down pact! Stella absolutely loves it. She cleans her bowl every night and I think we might even be able to bump her up to twice a day now. That cute little mouth of hers just opens so wide whenever she sees the spoon. No coaxing necessary, half the time I've barely finished loading it up before she's ready for the next bite. Not to mention she is hell bent on holding the spoon herself. I need to give her one to hold so I can feed her in peace. :)

She is now up to two servings of cereal a night, plus she still gets about 4-6 ounces of breast milk to top her off. She is a bottomless pit, I have no idea where it all goes. Probably her cute little chubby thighs that I am completely in love with!

On Friday, she has her 6 month appointment where we'll talk to the Doctor about starting her on baby food. I bought a Baby Bullet over the weekend because I, Gianna Marie Hester, am going to try and make baby food! She who does not cook is going to cook for her baby. Mark my words, it shall be done. :) Or at least I'll give it an honest effort. We'll see how it goes. I think the first food we are going to start her on is carrots, so I'll be sure to take lots of pictures over the weekend to document this monumental occasion. :)
