Now I realize this may not be everyone's experience. Some people don’t have to deal with the constant swelling, the fact that none of their clothes fit and let's not forget the horns. But for me that’s pretty much what it’s been like. I don't feel like I "glow", I feel huge, I'm constantly eating, I no longer have ankles, all-in-all it’s been an experience. A wonderful and strange, might need a little time in between babies before I do it again, experience. J
But honestly, through the good, the bad and the ugly it's all worth it. When you start feeling your baby moving and you see her up on the sonogram screen bouncing around it puts everything in perspective. 9 months of being uncomfortable versus a lifetime of love and happiness with your child is a no brainer.
On a side note I've got a pretty good idea of what I want to do for the nursery. I saw it at Buy Buy Baby awhile back and fell in love with it. I especially love the chair!
I also had my 20 week appointment today to see how Stella is doing and everything looks good! Her heartbeat was strong and everything is progressing normally. We are officially half way done. J
