Stella is officially walking! I'm not talking about pushing her walker around or holding onto the furniture, I'm talking full fledged look mom no hands walking! It happened on Father's Day. We were at Cabella's, Clint's favorite place, and she was getting fussy sitting in the cart so we put her down and she just took off. I like to think it was Stella's Fathers Day present to Clint. Did I mention she actually wore shoes too? This is huge seeing how all other attempts to wear them have ended in a disaster.
Walking hand-in-hand with daddy.
She's getting the hand of it.
This is before she started walking on her own. I like her little dance moves at the beginning.
And she's off!
Walking like a pro.
Now that she can walk she wants to walk everywhere and doesn't want any help. It was cute at first but when you're trying to grocery shop at Target and your toddler refuses to let you carry her and wants to walk in the opposite direction you're going in...not so much fun anymore. But hey I'm just happy she's doing it. She's really come into her own and is declaring her independence. :)
Just hangin.
Sassy in her jeggings.
Well actually...she is def. Clint's child. I have a feeling she will love to correct people too. ;)
Silly girl.
Loves to put things on her had. Maybe she'll be into hats?
Playing on her "computer".
Loves her Uncle Anthony.
What, I'm just sittin here.
Sitting in her big girl chair watching Sprouts.
On a completely different subject, I finally cashed in on my Mothers Day gift! I had to wait for a weekend
when Clint was home so he could watch Stella. I've always wanted to go
to a day spa, always, and just spend the day getting pampered.I've bee hinting at it for awhile and the wonderful
hubby that I have surprised me with the best gift ever. I went to the Grand Spa in Addison and I'm talking 6
hours of non-stop pampering. A facial, a 2 hour massage, mani, pedi
and hair styling and did I mention I got lunch! So much fun. I think I found my new favorite thing to do. If only it was cheaper. :)
