Stella Joe is 5 months old

I can not believe my little Stelly Bean is 5 months old as of yesterday. Where oh where did the time go? It's seems like only yesterday Clint and I were bringing her home from the hospital. I have enjoyed every waking minute of this whole experience. I've taken nothing for granted because having her is such a gift. Even through the late night feedings and the sleepless nights, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I know some might complain about not getting enough sleep and how frustrated they are and my advise to them is savor it because before you know it they are gonna be all grown up and out the door. Savor those moments no matter how hard it might seem you will never have this time back and it goes by way too fast.

As far as development goes she is right on track! She's started holding her bottle, she can only hold it for a few minutes before it starts to slip down but she is determined that she can do it herself. She's eating cereal and loves it. She has to touch everything especially faces. She finally noticed the dogs. Duke pretty much keeps to himself but Max is in her face 24/7 and the other day she finally "noticed" him. It was so cute she squealed and got all excited. She does tummy time like a champ, although she's still not rolling over. Hasn't even attempted it, just not interested. If you stand her up on her legs she'll start bouncing a little. She sleeps through the night beautifully, but then she's been doing that for awhile now. Still not in her crib yet, apparently mommy and daddy are having a hard time letting her cry it out, but we'll get there. And she is obsessed with high pitched babbling. It's the funniest thing. Missy prissy has found her voice and it's an octave or two higher than everybody elses. ;)

I love how she props herself up in the chair.

Sportin a Texas Tech onesie, Wreck 'Em!

Just as happy as she can be in her stroller.

At the mall with her friend Brady!

I love her in jeans.

Big girl holding her bottle.

I couldn't resist. This is apparently what she thinks of tummy time.

Asleep in her sleep rocker. And yes, that's a Halloween
sleeper someone needed to do laundry. ;)

Pretty girl.

Love her. And I especially love that she is getting more hair! :)

Her next doctor's appointment is not until the end of next month. I can't wait to see how much my munchkin has grown!
