The Happiest Baby on the Hester Block!

So I thought I would be clever and play off of the "Happiest Baby on the Block" book. I haven't actually read it yet because quite frankly I think I have the happiest baby already. Don't want to brag....no wait yes I do, but Stella is such a good baby.

She never cries when she wakes up. She wakes up smiling and with a big ole grin on her face. The only reason I ever know she's awake is because I can hear her moving around and when I look over at her there she is all wide eyed and smiling. What baby wakes up that way? The minute you walk into the room her face lights up. I've been waiting for her to start recognizing people and now there is no doubt in my mind she knows who we are. She is constantly laughing, we are getting more and more giggles and full blown laughing fits every day and this week she started cooing a lot more. It may only be one sided, but she is having full on conversations with us, we just can't understand her yet.

Now don't get me wrong. She is a baby and she has her moments, crib training comes to mind and how she won't sleep longer than 20 minutes before getting hysterical, but those are few and far between. In her sleep rocker she'll sleep in 10 hour stretches at night no problem there's just something about her crib and napping that she is just not happy with. Everything else has been pure joy. I don't know how we were blessed with such a wonderful baby but I won't question it and will just be thankful that God chose us to be Stella's parents. :)

Big stretch in the morning.

Happy girl, playing at her Aunt Kelly's house.

Katelyn and Stella playing in the Cinderella tent.

Tuckered out.

This is her after her nap.

All smiles.

Look at those blue eyes!

Just chillin.

Who knew the Bumbo could be so fun?

Came across this in my phone.
Can't believe that was 4 months ago!

The only thing that worries me is what will the second baby be like? Can you really get that lucky twice? Thankfully I won't have to think about that for awhile, we just want to enjoy Stella before even thinking about having another one.
